Meet the Team
Joel Schlossberg - General Manager
Joel is the General Manager at Lighthouse Point Marina, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Dickinson College and a Master of Science in Business from Johns Hopkins University. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality management, Joel has successfully managed multi-unit luxury health and fitness clubs for The Sports Club/LA (now Equinox) and LifeTime. Additionally, he is a former volunteer EMT/Paramedic.
Joel’s passion for the boating and marine industry stems from his personal experience as a boat owner for nearly 10 years. As an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, crabbing, and hunting, Joel saw an opportunity to bring his extensive hospitality and customer service expertise to a setting he is deeply passionate about.
At Lighthouse Point, Joel’s favorite part of his role is interacting with boaters and team members. He finds great joy in fostering relationships within such a dynamic and vibrant setting.
Outside of work, Joel is an avid non-fiction reader, particularly drawn to books about WWII and the Great Explorers from the Renaissance to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
